Thank you to our wonderful retailers of Cannoleria, The Nut Bar, Cedar Bakery, Lucia's Euro Deli and our Centre Manager Joe who feature in this great local initiative.
This campaign was created prior to the State Government mandate to wear face coverings.
Easter Care Packs for the Lakes Retirement home residents - 10 April 2020
As part of our “A little thanks” campaign, we were so happy to share over 150 bags of Watergardens goodies to each resident of our neighbours at The Lakes Estate Retirement Village. The bags included essential cleaning items, Easter eggs, and a free coffee on us to enjoy when quarantine was over.
We received some lovely letters and emails from the residents thanking Watergardens for remembering them during this difficult time which was so beautiful. We certainly miss them all but hope they are all keeping safe and well.
Brimbank City Council Frozen Books giveaway - 29 April 2020
In April we were delighted to organise a donation of 800 Disney Frozen Colouring books to two of Brimbank City Council's fantastic community initiatives:
Brimbank Libraries have been running a program that brings the library to the community by delivering books to the door. Watergardens were thrilled to play a small part in this program to keep the community reading and engaged.
Some of the books were also donated to the Brimbank Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres who have been sending care packages to families in the municipality. We thank them for their incredible work during this especially difficult time!
ANZ Afternoon Tea - 19 August 2020
A Little Thanks of afternoon tea was provided to our essential ANZ Watergardens team, who continue to offer help and much needed support to our customers who may be experiencing financial difficulty.
Woolworths Staff Complimentary Coffee - 26 August 2020
A little thanks of complimentary coffees was provided to all our essential Woolworths team members, continuing to serve the needs of our community while ensuring well-being is a priority through these challenging times together!
The Butcher Club Direct Thanks Frontline Workers - 8 September 2020
A little thanks for the little things...The Butcher Club Direct Watergardens is offering a 10% discount to hardworking healthcare workers on the frontline. Simply show your valid healthcare or medical ID in store to redeem. Seniors, Pensioners and Health Care card holders are also valid for a 10% discount in store, as part of their ongoing support for the community.
Thank You for Keeping us Safe - 15 September 2020
Thank you to our amazing customers who have been wearing a face covering while visiting the centre. This helps to keep our whole community safe and happy! We thanked a few of our customers last week with a surprise and delight of a $20 Watergardens gift card, which they can use on their next visit to the centre.

Watergardens Walkers Care Packs - 23 October 2020
A little thanks to our Watergardens Walkers for staying active in isolation. Our weekly social walks were postponed due to the restrictions so Watergardens sent over 80 Walkers care packages to their homes, a little thank you for continuing to stay active in isolation and a little something to look forward to.
A special thank you to Hoyts for the donation of goodies!
Christ the Priest Primary School - Caroline Springs - 10 November 2020
Over the remote learning period the school encouraged teachers, families and importantly students to keep fitness levels up with a Walking/Running Challenge. Watergardens were pleased to offer prizes for a great community initiative.
George Cross FC, Caroline Springs - 13 November 2020
A little thanks for the team at local soccer club George Cross. Helping to keep our community active off field, Watergardens were happy to share over 35 fun family sets that can be enjoyed in the summery days ahead.
